EarthPositive Apparel is 100% organic with 90% reduced CO2. The carbon footprint was calculated in accordance with BSI PAS2050 methodology and certified by the Carbon Trust Certifications.
The reduction is achieved through low-impact organic farming, efficient manufacturing and transportation, and the use of renewable energy instead of fossil fuel-based grid electricity.
The organic textiles standard is recognised as a leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines environmental criteria across the organic textiles supply chain and includes social criteria as well.
Fair Wear Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization working to improve working conditions in the textile industry. It verifies member companies’ compliance with the Code of Labour Practice through audits, remediation efforts, and annual reporting.
