Cling film gets used once and thrown away. These beeswax cloth food wraps are designed to be used again and again, keeping food fresh without the plastic waste that accumulates with every shop.
Each wrap is made from cotton cloth coated in a blend of beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin. The warmth of your hands is enough to soften the wrap so it moulds around food or over a bowl, cooling to form a light seal that holds well in the fridge. Fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, cut herbs, half a lemon: it handles most everyday food storage jobs without needing a single bag or sheet of film.
The set comes with three sizes, so there's something to hand whatever you're wrapping. The small is well-suited to snacks and smaller portions; the medium covers most standard bowls and works well for bread and cheese; the large handles bigger items and wider dishes comfortably.
Available in 12 patterns featuring bees, honeycombs, flowers and honey jars - a small but considered detail that makes the kitchen shelf a little more enjoyable.
