Everything you need to know before switching to washable period pads.
How do reusable sanitary pads work?
They work like disposable pads, but instead of throwing them away after use, you wash and reuse them. Place the soft bamboo charcoal side against your body, wrap the wings around your underwear and secure the popper underneath.
What is included in the pack?
Each pack includes 6 reusable sanitary pads and a 2-zip storage bag. The pads are available in Light, Medium and Heavy flow options.
Which flow option should I choose?
Light flow pads are around 22cm and are best for light days, spotting or backup protection. Medium pads are around 25cm for regular flow. Heavy pads are around 32cm and are better for heavier days or overnight use.
How often should I change them?
Change them as you would a disposable pad. On heavier days, this is usually every 2 to 4 hours. On lighter days, you may be able to wear them for longer depending on your flow and comfort.
Are they suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. They are made with soft, breathable materials and are free from synthetic fragrances, chlorine bleach and plastic-based gels commonly found in some disposable pads.
What materials are they made from?
The soft top layer is 100% bamboo charcoal, the absorbent inner layer is microfibre, and the waterproof outer layer is PUL, which is 100% polyester. The pads are roughly 20% PUL overall.
Are the materials certified?
Yes. The materials are certified to OEKO-TEX and GOTS standards, meaning they have been independently checked against strict safety and organic textile standards.
How do I wash them?
Rinse in cold water after use to help prevent staining, then machine wash at 40°C with your usual detergent. Avoid fabric softener, as it can reduce absorbency over time.
Can I tumble dry them?
No. Air dry flat or hang them to dry. Do not tumble dry, as heat can damage the waterproof layer and reduce the lifespan of the pads.
How long do reusable pads last?
With proper care, they can last around 3 to 5 years. Avoid fabric softener and tumble drying to help keep them soft, absorbent and effective for longer.
How do I store used pads when away from home?
Use the included 2-zip storage bag. It is compact enough to keep in a handbag and gives you a discreet place to store clean and used pads separately while out and about.
Are reusable pads cost-effective?
Yes. Because they can be washed and reused for years, they can work out much cheaper over time than regularly buying disposable pads.

I think this is something you have to try and persevere with as it is a bit of a different feel to using disposable sanitary pads and though it does seem like a bit more effort/hassle, I think in the long run, these will be way more beneficial if only for the planet!
You get a box of 6 well made pads, a mesh wash bag and a storage bag that has two pockets - one for used, one for new, which is great when using out and about. The pads themselves are well made, have a fab pattern on, not that that is really important and have popper that 'fix' them to your underwear. There is a triple layer that acts as an absorbent and waterproof pad that is soft on your bits and pieces and once you've the hang of it - or a decent pair of pants on that fit snugly - these sit well and cause no issues at all. They are easy to wash, just pre-soak then bung in your washing machine - so far no issues with staining or changes in pad shape or anything like that. I'm definitely a convert and will be getting more to use on other 'girly days'.
This product is better than I thought it was going to be. The pads are really soft and comfy you don’t realise your wearing them. I love the carry bag as well as you can carry your fresh ones and used ones in the same bag in separate compartments. It also comes with a wash bag that’s perfect for keeping them together in the wash

I decided to try Re:gn because of the offers and they are amazing.
I have sensitive skin and a heavy flow (for perspective, I'm super+ tampons normally and change every 45mins to an hour at peak). Although I struggled with the 'ich' (I'm allergic to any pad I've ever tried so am used to tampons and minor leakage onto a liner, not the wiping mess!), they took full flow for about 5 hours.
This made my work life so much easier as I work in a fast paced environment where willy nilly toilet breaks are not ideal at all as it has a knock on effect to the whole team. I also have a toddler so the comfort and longevity is perfect for my active lifestyle 😂

I brought the pack of 6 pads and 2 sets of panties, they are both amazing and so, so, so super soft! I've washed both the pads and the pants around 4 or 5 times now and so far the softness and absorbency has held wonderfully.
They come with a carry bag as well. Two sections separating fresh and used and I can also squeeze in some baby wipes lol. There were just a few in the pack and I thought "they'll do for a freshen up at work when I change pads" so now I just shove a couple in every time I'm off out and it all fits nicely in my handbag 😊
I want to reduce my waste footprint. Reuse instead of refuse. These pads are a decent size. I use them for a leakage pov rather than as sanitary pads, but they are absorbent and easy to wash and clean after use.
I find the pads to be comfortable to wear and they are well made, and fit well inside close fitting pants. They are softer than throw away pads and there is no leakage around the gusset a bonus was the wash bag and the discreet bag to carry with you which has wet and dry compartments.

I first bought these in 2022, it’s now 2026 so it’s been 4 years and I’ve never looked back.
I used to hate the chafing from the plastic in shop bought pads, I’d frequently end up with friction burns and it was just really uncomfortable overall.
When I found these they sounded perfect, comfortable, cost effective and eco friendly. Sanitary products should be low cost for women and this is such a good way to make that possible.
Overall I’ve bought TWO 6 packs in those 4 years. I checked the maths and I’ve spent £45.46 including delivery on sanitary products in total, that’s £11.37 a year which is honestly crazy compared to disposables.
The only issue I ever had was when a couple accidentally went in the tumble dryer which scrunched up the waterproof lining slightly, totally my fault, lesson learned. But with the recommended care they’ve held up incredibly well, no fraying, no fabric issues, nothing. They’re still so gentle and comfortable which is shocking, I can’t recommend them enough!
Brilliant fit, not too bulky, a good length and plenty absorbent. They don't move around, either. Easy to wash and look after - the storage and wash bags are a real bonus. Excellent product, but affordable!
They arrived very nicely packed with an extra storage and wash bag. The pads seem good quality. However, the light one folds instead of being an even surface which is uncomfortable to wear. Maybe making the clip less tight would solve that

I’ve always wanted to try reusable pads for years but wasn’t sure if it would be too gross. I finally brought them and I’m genuinely very surprised at how good they are. They are not as gross as I thought they would be, in fact I would say that they are less gross then your Average pad. They are really absorbent, very soft of the skin, easy to use, comfortable, and washing them are easy. I really will never go back to normal pads ever again. I really recommend them.
For the website side of things, could you please put a picture with the size difference for your light, medium and heavy flow pads please. It’s hard to tell what one I’m buying. I want to get more large night pads, I am assuming it’s the heavy ones but would rather have a picture to confirm this.

Very happy so far, as described, in my previous review for the medium flow. The design is nice, feels soft and easy to wear. I am lookong forward in the benefits of using washable reusable products.
Product arrived in a neat box, wirh allt he pads, a bag to hold and keep them safe, plus a wash bag. I have got medium and heavy flow pads. They have a nice design, feel soft and comforting, look easy to use.
Instructions are simple and clear. I am looking forward to trying these to see how much better theyll be to my body and of course, washable/reusuable!

These pads are amazing! As a lady who has endometriosis and PCOS I tend to have longer periods, with disposable pad been uncomfortable and completely full of plastics and chemicals I was debating the move to reusable sanitary products for a while!
Then I found REGN, I purchased the heavy flow pack. And safe to say, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to disposables! These REGN pads are super comfy, easy to use, and gave me confidence I wouldn’t leak through the night too. It was lovely to have a comfortable period! They’re easy to rinse and this pack came with a wash bag too which was so practical. After washing following REGN’s instructions I allowed to air dry and ready to go again. Love this product!
The top fabric that is skin contact is made from bamboo fibre which is lush.
The only reason they’re not 5 star is because I wish the waterproof back layer was made of a more sustainable, kinder material, it’s currently made from polyester. But that’s the only thing that I personally would change. However the polyester material is a minor issue compared to the plastics and chemicals from reusable pads that I’ve used for over a decade so REGN pads are extremely gentle, eco saving and fabulous in comparison 🫶 thank you

They wash very well. They need to be soaked in warm salty water. They go into mesh bag they come with to be washed. They also come with a bag to carry spare pads. An amazing product. I'll be buying again in the future.
So i bought two sets of these 6 months ago, i have quite heavy periods so i was sceptical, however they have been amazing, they wash really well, are really comfy when wearing and they dry easily too! Im buying more and i wouldn't go back to disposable sanitary products now.
