The actual filter system is great; it lets the coffee through slowly enough to give great flavour. The only criticism I have is that the stand is really quite fragile. We have had two that have dropped and broken where the pillars are joined to the base. There is very little surface contact. Would recommend manufacturers find sturdier solution.

Such a simple design but great tasting coffee, if you use a wide brimmed cup you can put the filter directly in it and let the grounds sit in the water a little longer but it works really well with the frame on top of the cup too, and much cheaper than a posh coffee machine 👍🏼
