Organic Kombucha Matcha & Mint is a sparkling, fermented tea drink with a clean, refreshing finish and a subtle hint of mint. Naturally cultured and unpasteurised, this organic kombucha combines tea, organic cane sugar and a kombucha culture to create a lightly effervescent drink with live bacteria.
Although often described as a fermented green tea, this particular organic kombucha is made using oolong tea as its base, blended with matcha tea and mint for a layered flavour profile. The result is crisp, gently sparkling and lightly aromatic.
During production, a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast is used to ferment the tea. The culture itself is removed before bottling, while the live bacteria, vitamins and enzymes remain in the finished drink.
