Mooncup Pads, Liners & Tampons
Why Switch to Mooncup Tampons, Liners & Pads
Most of us have used the same period products for years without giving them much thought. But your intimate skin is delicate, and conventional pads and tampons often contain bleached fibres, plastic-based absorbent gels and synthetic additives that sit against it for hours at a stretch, month after month.
Mooncup's period products are built around a simpler idea. Disposable pads, liners and tampons made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, free from SAPs, petroleum plastics, dyes and synthetic fragrances, so you get reliable protection without anything your body doesn't need. Whether you prefer tampons with or without an applicator, pads for day or night, or liners for everyday freshness, there's an option for every part of your cycle.
How Mooncup Sanitary Pads, Liners & Tampons Work
Mooncup's organic cotton eco-friendly tampons are available with or without a biodegradable cardboard applicator, across Regular, Super and Super+ absorbencies. The cotton veil, core and string are all GOTS-certified organic, so nothing synthetic sits inside your body during use. Each tampon is individually wrapped in paper for convenience.
The pads and liners work with a three-layer construction: a soft 100% organic cotton topsheet sits against the skin, an FSC-certified cellulose core absorbs and locks in fluid, and a leakproof cornstarch back sheet keeps everything in place. The pad’s wings fasten securely around your underwear so the pad stays put whether you're moving through your day or sleeping. Panty liners follow the same construction in a lighter format, suitable for everyday freshness or very light days.
A Genuinely Low-Impact Period
Most regular pads take centuries to break down. They're made from petroleum plastics and synthetic materials that persist in landfills long after use. Mooncup pads and liners take a different approach: the cornstarch back sheet replaces petroleum plastic entirely, and the organic cotton and FSC-certified cellulose construction means each pad is fully biodegradable, breaking down within one year even in landfill.
Mooncup tampons, applicators and wrappers are just as considered. Cardboard applicators are biodegradable, individual wrappers are paper or waxed tissue, and the organic cotton throughout is free from the synthetic processing that makes conventional tampons so difficult to dispose of responsibly. Packaging across the range is plastic-free too, so you can rest easy knowing your period routine leaves very little behind.
